Currys PC World - Somebody's after a laptop (Windows 10)

Currys PC World has released a light-hearted TV campaign to push its laptops, tablets and software ahead of the new school year. Each of the three spots, created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, is a domestic skit showing the lengths people go to get a new computer – be it framing the dog for destroying your laptap or buttering up your dad by telling him he looks like a model. They will be backed by print ads and Currys is holding a competition on social media offering to pay the winning students' fees for a year. The campaign launch coincides with the arrival of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system in stores. It was written by Zac Ellis, art directed by Rich Littler and directed by The Glue Society's Gary Freedman through Independent.
