Moxy Hotels is enlisting YouTube star Taryn Southern to help launch its
own YouTube channel with an eight-part Web series, Between the Sheets.
Debuting in September, Between the Sheets will see Southern
interviewing other popular YouTube influencers inside a shipping
container, which holds a prototype of the Moxy bedroom.
The episodes will also feature games such as Yougle Search, which takes
a deep dive into the dark and humorous world of what guests search for
online; What's in My Bag?, taking a sneak peek into overnight bags; and
Dance Party Challenge, where guests bust a move for minibar treats.

is full of music and comedy. Favorite shows online, and I always wanted to take that and do my own
personal spin on it," she said.
Vicky Poulos, brand director for Moxy, explained that it was important
for the chain to find someone who would actually stay at a Moxy hotel in
real life. Southern added authenticity was key: "We wanted this
interview series to feel like two friends talking at 2 a.m."
Moxy has just one hotel open now—in Milan—with plans for eight more in
the U.S., including three in New York and others in San Francisco,
Seattle, New Orleans and Chicago.
